Present catalog for the first exhibition of Belgian art in Estonia begins with preface by art historian Robert de Bendère and presents 135 masterpieces of Belgian art created by modern Flemish and Walloon painters, sculptors and graphic artists. According to Robert de Bendère 1890s became remarkable years in Belgian modern art when number of artists being at their creative peak organized artistic society "The Free Aesthetics", which affected Belgian modernist art development even in XX century. Flemings began to develop German expressionism and other modern expressionist art styles, more classical Walloons preferred French realism and were more close to Paris masters of art.

Catalog gives brief characteristic of each artist and lists presented works. Among the participants were: Émile Baes, Jean Colin, Carl de Roover, Paul Daxhelet, Vital Keuller, Armand Massonet, Albert Saverys, Taf Wallet etc.
