The Mongolian Comission was created in 1925 by order of the Russian Council of People’s Commissars to study Northern Mongolia associated with the discoveries made by the Mongol-Tibetian expedition under direction of P. K. Kozlov. The results of the research work were embodied in the various reports, series ans issues.

Current the first of three published volumes entitled “Northern Mongolia” includes preliminary reports on the works of geological, geochemical and soil-geographical party performed by the expedition in 1925. Text is supplemented with schemes, drawings, tables, illustrations, maps.
