The fourth book in the series “Novye sooruzheniya sovetskoi arkhitektury” (New Structures of the Soviet Architecture) under the general editorship of I.N. Magidin authored by Roman Khiger (1901-1985), who was a leading soviet architectural critic, theorist and architect, one of the ideologists of constructivism. The book gives an architectural overview of three newly constructed (in the 1930s) river stations on the Moscow River: the North River Terminal (Khimkinskiy vokzal, 1937), the South River Terminal (Moskovskiy rechnoy vokzal, 1933), the Tver River Terminal (Kalininskiy rechnoi vokzal,1938). Edition is provided with rich illustrative material - photographic images and plans (mostly full-page) are located on the 43 pages. Printed on coated stuff.
