Professor of the faculty of Architecture of Warsaw University of Technology Lech Niemojewski (1894-1952) was a distinguished Polish architect and architectural historian. Known for his futurist designs for Warsaw in 1920s, his sketches of modernist buildings showcased the achievemnets of modern technology.

Niemojewski authored current research work “Constructivism in Architecture", the first study in Poland of its kind, which made him one of the leading exponents of modernism. According to author, the first phase of modernism after the war was called constructivism (from 1920s until early 1930s). Considered moving towards modernism based on the examples from the world architectural heritage, which are supplemented with 74 drawings for better understanding of written text.
