Very Good condition; cover shows slight soiling and darkening to the edges, soft creases across cover corners; internally few occasional foxing mainly on the edges and margins of the pages.
 
The Moscow Provincial Zemstvo Assembly at its meeting on 28 November 1895 approved the "Mandatory rules for the construction of school buildings with the allowance and the loan from the provincial zemstvo” and instructed the zemstvo board to create plans of school buildings according to the approved rules and send them to the boards of the provincial zemstvoes. 
 
The brochure provides description of the fundamental principles that guided the Provincial Zemstvo Board and its bodies in the preparation and approval of these building plans, reproduces the texts of the „mandatory rules“ taken from the appendix 1, the “rules on the allowances and loans for the construction and repair of rural schools“ from the appendix 2 and the "inventory of forest building materials for the construction of school buildings" from the appendix 3 of the report “Indicative Plans of the School Buildings” of the Provincial Zemstvo Board. On seven separate leaves included five plans of the single-class schools for 40-60 pupils and four plans of the two-classroom schools for the 60-100 pupils, also drawings of facades, cross sections and some details (window, transon, oven).
