Catalog includes foreword by art exhibition committee, and review article "The Way of Lithuantian Art" by Paulius Galaune, Lithuanian art historian, graphic artist, one of the first professional museum curators in Lithuania and director of the Vytautas the Great Museum, where present exhibition was held. The article considers Lithuanian art development since the end of Russian Revolution in 1905 until the German occupation of Lithuania in 1941, also gives a review of main Lithuanian artist's exhibitions of this period in Lithuania and abroad - in Paris, Chicago, Riga, Tallinn etc., with mentioning the most remarkable figures of Lithuanian art. In 1905 professional Lithuanian art was consolidated by the first exhibitions and the foundation of the Lithuanian Art Society in 1907. The number of exhibitions started to increase considerably. The ideas of national revival and the goal of creating an independent state provided an impulse to hold these exhibitions, which brought together Lithuanian artists, who were scattered in foreign centers as Krakow, Paris and St. Petersburg.

Catalog introduces all 81 exhibition participates with short characteristic of each artist and his photographic image and the list of presented works. Included huge amount of illustrations - 94 artwork reproductions on 48 pages. In the exhibition took part such important artists as Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis, Adomas Galdikas, Antanas Gudaitis, Vytautas Kazimieras Jonynas, Petras Kalpokas, Rimtas Kalpokas, Telesforas Kalakauskas, Jonas Mackevicius, Petras Rimsa, Jonas Sileika, Adomas Varnas and many others.
